Since Sunday really isn't the best day for us to celebrate birthdays or other events due to commitments at church, we celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday. Dan and three of his friends planned out the surprise afternoon for us four gals: lunch at a nice restaurant then manicures and pedicures at a local spa/salon. It was so nice to have a relaxing afternoon. I wish someone could massage my feet every day!

I really thought Hubby was going to give me a gift cert for a massage. He did one year. It was fabulous.
But I loved the multi frame of mother related pics with my mom, bug and I.
I can relate to the Sunday church. We sat way in the back on Sunday and jetted out immediately for lunch with MIL and her family.
My siblings and I can't plan anything for Sundays either b/c we live in a range of an hour and half from each other, in three different towns, with three different church times.
