My Grace is Sufficient

Pastor David Jeremiah told the following illustrations:

A little fish is reluctant to drink the ocean water,
lest the water be depleted.
God said, “there is enough water.”

A man at the top of a mountain is reluctant to breath,
lest the air be depleted.
God said, “there is enough air.”

A woman prays but hesitates,
lest her prayers but unheard.
God said, “there is enough grace.”

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2. Cor. 12:9

How powerful these words are. Paul ‘besought the Lord thrice’ for his thorn to be removed. As we struggle daily to depend on our God, this verse has come to mind. For some reason, we have been allowed to experience this trial. We pray for God's strength because ours has been depleted.

Praying for you Hillary and knowing that the Lord will uphold you and give you the strength you need daily.
Thank you for being so open in your posts about the struggle you are currently going through. We had similar issues in the past too and my heart goes out to you.
Take care and big hugs
